Administrative Support Agent, Claims Department

The challenges that await you: 

  • Open, scan and assign mail by type of claim, by type of insurance and by type of document; 
  • Open new claims in the system, and taking care to verify eligible insurance coverage; 
  • At the request of the analyst, produce a large portion of the written communications related to claims, based on templates provided (e.g.: acknowledgement, hold or acceptance); 
  • Prepare applications for certain files; 
  • Perform all other related administrative duties as requested by the immediate supervisor. 

Your expertise and assets: 

  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field;  
  • Bilingualism, both written and spoken; 
  • Speed of execution; 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail; 
  • Sense of organization and priorities; 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to perform several tasks simultaneously; 
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Word and Excel; 
  • Enthusiasm and team spirit; 
  • Knowledge of insurance is an asset.

  • The work week is 35 hours, from Monday to Friday and this position requires a partial presence at the office. Our work-from-home policy allows you to work from home on the days you wish, according to certain criteria.

Administration
